Non-Profit Management Internship-Summer Internship 2008
FutaFriends is offering a full-time internship for the Chilean Winter from June to August, 2008 in Futaleufu, Chile located in northern Patagonia. The internship opportunity integrates office and field work. The intern will be responsible for strengthening the organization’s operational structure, including finances, strategic plans, and organizational partnering. The project includes grant writing experience, project design and program management. This is an unpaid position.
Requirements: BA required, MA preferred in public administration, natural resource management, community development or related fields. Experience in grant writing, non-profit management and finance preferred. Peace Corps experience and Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Community Development Internship-Fall Internship 2008
FutaFriends is offering a full-time internship for the Chilean Fall from September to December, 2008 in Futaleufu, Chile located in northern Patagonia. The internship opportunity integrates office and field work. The intern will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing a sustainable income-generation project for the towns of Espolon and Futaleufu. The project includes grant writing experience, project design and program management. This is an unpaid position.

Community Education and Development Internship-Spring Internship 2009
FutaFriends is offering a full-time internship for the Chilean Summer from December 2008 to April 2009 in Futaleufu, Chile located in northern Patagonia. The internship opportunity integrates office and field work. The intern will be responsible for implementing a sustainable income-generation project for the towns of Espolon and Futaleufu, as well as developing community education programs to fight the mining interests in the region. The project includes grant writing experience, project design and program management. This is an unpaid position.

Micro-Enterprise Development Internship-Spring Internship 2009
FutaFriends is offering a full-time internship for the Chilean Summer from December 2008 to April 2009 in Futaleufu, Chile located in northern Patagonia. The internship opportunity integrates office and field work. The intern will be responsible for designing and developing a micro-enterprise program for the towns of Espolon and Futaleufu, increasing the tourism benefits to local community members. The program includes micro-enterprise development, formation of business plans, and community education. This is an unpaid position.
Requirements: BA required, MBA preferred in micro-enterprise management or related fields. Experience in business formation and management, grant writing, and finance preferred. Peace Corps experience and Spanish proficiency is a plus.
