FutaFriends supports the first-annual FutaFestival! FutaFriends is working with local partners to organize and fund the creation and devlopment of this important event. The FutaFestival features exciting river competitions, live music performances, cultural exhibits, great prizes and a festival party. The festival's founding objective is to raise awareness of the Futaleufu Valley's intrinsic natural value and also to bring attention to the proposed development projects that threaten to negatively impact this pristine area. The FutaFrestival will be held at various venues in and around the town of Futaleufu and at specific stretches of the Futaleufu River. This event hopes to serve as a valuable cultural contribution to the Futaleufu Valley and the greater region of Northern Patagonia.
