Price Options and Fee Breakdown:
FutaFriends is a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports sustainable development actions in the Futaleufu Valley. Part of the program fee is considered a U.S. tax-deductible donation to FutaFriends.
What is included:
- lodging with a host family
- 4 meals a day
- work activities, materials and resources
- outdoor activity fees
- local transportation
- Spanish instruction
- Emergency evacuation to nearest hospital/airport
- Program Coordinators
As a small non-profit organization, part of the program budget covers our operational costs, which includes staff, administrative fees, and other expenses that are generated by implementing the Insight Travel Program. The organization does not generate a profit from this program, and instead uses the funding generated to support Chile's local programs and conserve Futaleufu and Patagonia's environment and culture.
The program fee of approximately USD$300 per week helps us not become a burden to the community. A full budget is included in the program brochure, available for download.
